Deleting an organization

An organization administrator can delete the organization; packages in the organization will also be deleted.

Steps to delete an organization​

  1. In the upper right corner of the page, click your profile picture, then click Organizations.

  2. In the left sidebar, click the name of the organization that you want to delete.

  3. On the organization settings page, click Billing.

  4. Under "Delete Organization", click Delete.

  5. You will be given an overview of the packages in your organization and what will happen to them when your organization is deleted. Packages that can be unpublished will be deleted.

  6. If you are sure that you want to continue, enter your organization name and click "Delete this organization".

Important notes​

  • This action cannot be undone
  • All packages owned by the organization will be deleted
  • All team members will lose access to the organization's packages
  • If you need to preserve any packages, consider transferring ownership before deletion
